Entering the second choir of the Shem HaMephorash, the Cherubim, we meet Haziel. As the Keter aspect of the second choir, Haziel represents the first reflection of Divine Mercy (Chesed) in the world of Beriah.
He is governed by the Sephirah of the "Hidden Crown" within the intellectual realm and corresponds to the second decan of Taurus. Haziel is the energy of Unconditional Grace—the power that allows us to move beyond judgment and find peace through the absolute forgiveness of ourselves and others.
Haziel is the angel of "Divine Mercy and Friendship." He is invoked to gain the favor of powerful individuals, to reconcile with enemies, and to keep one's promises. In the path of theurgy, he is the master of "The Open Door," providing the social and spiritual opportunities that arise when one is aligned with the law of love.
