To draw the Seed of Life, you only need a piece of paper, a pencil, and a compass. The single most important rule is to never change the radius (width) of your compass once you set it. Every line in this pattern relies on that exact, unchanging measurement.

1.Draw the central anchor circle:Day 1.Open your compass to your desired radius. Ensure the hinge is tight so the width won't accidentally shift. Place the metal point firmly near the center of your paper and sweep the pencil around to complete a full circle.
2.Create the Vesica Piscis:Day 2.Move the metal point of your compass so it rests exactly anywhere on the pencil line of the circle you just drew. Draw a second, full circle. You will now have two overlapping circles forming an almond shape (the Vesica Piscis) in the center.
3.Draw the third circle:Day 3.Look at the two points where your first and second circles cross each other. Place the metal point of your compass exactly on one of those intersecting points. Draw your third full circle.
4.Continue around the perimeter:Days 4 through 6.You will now see a new intersection point created on the edge of your original central circle. Place the compass point on this new intersection and draw another circle.
Continue this exact process: always move the compass point to the newest intersection located on the edge of the first (central) circle, and draw a full circle. You are essentially "walking" the compass around the perimeter of the very first circle you drew.
5.Close the Seed:Day 7.Place your compass point on the final remaining intersection on the central circle's edge. Draw the seventh and final circle. This last sweep will perfectly interlock with the other circles, completing the six-petaled flower design locked inside the original center circle.
Once complete, the core structure is finished. You can optionally erase the outer arcs that extend beyond the central cluster, or use them as the foundation to continue expanding the pattern outward into the Flower of Life.
