The Architecture of the Heavens

The Hexad, or number Six, was considered by the Pythagoreans to be the first "Perfect Number," as it is the sum of its divisors (1+2+3=6). It is the number of the Macrocosm, the universal order, famously represented by the Hexagram (the interlocking triangles of fire and water).

This number embodies the Hermetic axiom, "As above, so below." It is the flawless reflection of the divine will in the mirror of creation. The Hexad governs the cycles of time, the structure of crystals, and the geometry of the honeycomb.
