Cloud Centric Style Alternative Forest Image

Part 4 offers an alternative take on the cloud-centric style from Part 2. The forest is again wrapped in clouds and mist, with different compositions and moods. Scroll down to compare them.

The first picture sets the mood: a treetop of coral and rose blossoms floats above a bank of pale blue clouds, and the mist seems to rise from the branches themselves. There is no ground and no path, only color and fog. Across the set, the trees keep changing their palette. Some glow in pink and violet against a blue-green sky, with pale flakes drifting through the air like early snow. Others turn crimson on one side and a cold, frosted indigo on the other, as if two seasons met in the same grove. Further on, the forest becomes a mountainside of evergreens in orange, teal, lilac and salmon, half buried in drifting cloud.

Part 2 mixes painterly, storybook scenes, crowded with butterflies and wildflowers under rainbow-colored clouds, with misty, glowing groves. This alternative leans toward the misty side: each tree gets an unlikely hue and the fog softens the edges. The result feels less like a landscape and more like a dream of one, a place the eye can wander through but the feet could never find.

If you enjoy this look, Part 2 shows the first cloud-centric version, and Part 5 turns the same woods into a handmade cardboard scene. The metal-styled Part 3 is linked at the bottom of this page as well.
