The Hymns of Proclus: The Luminous Chains of the Gods
In the fifth century CE, within the Platonic Academy of Athens, the philosopher-theurgist Proclus Lycaeus produced a collection of seven hymns addressed to the various deities of the Hellenistic pantheon: Helios, Aphrodite, the Muses, and others.
