The Arrow of Temperance

Shooting straight up the Middle Pillar from the lunar machinery of Yesod to the solar heart of Tiferet, the Twenty-Fifth Path is the central axis of the mystic's ascent. Samekh translates as the Prop or Support.

Guarded by the angel of Temperance (or Art), the Probational Intelligence represents the ultimate test. It is the delicate, alchemical blending of fire and water, the conscious integration of opposites. This path pierces the veil of Paroketh, requiring absolute psychic equilibrium. If the seeker leans too heavily toward emotion or intellect, the arrow falls short. Mastery of Samekh is the forging of the true self in the crucible of the Middle Way.
